We served together on the front lines of teaching for nine years. For another three years, we worked together ina coaching/teacher relationship, and then for another year, | served as her 3rd - 5th grade principal, Mrs. Tebeau has shown collectively through the years strong classroom management, phenomenal communication skills, and an undying passion for students. Classroom management, one of the numerous pillars of the teaching profession, is one where Mrs, Tebeau shines. She builds positive relationships with students which offers an environment of mutual respect. Mrs. Tebeau successfully utilizes the Leader in Me (Steven Covy’s educational version of the 7 Habits of Highly Successful People) and Ron Clark’s Essential 55 in both her professional life as a teacher and her personal life. She teaches these important aspects of how to achieve successful adulthood to her students, Her students are respectful and caring due to her diligence with these two programs. Mrs. Tebeau is professional and highly succassful when communicating with staff and parents. She often goes above and beyond to help other staff members by creating documents needed for all staff members. She also provides necessary and needed information for parents to help their students be more successful. Mrs. Tebeau makes certain parents are well informed of their student's current progress be it socially, academically, or emotionally. Passion is a requirement of any teacher to remain in this profession, and itis something Mrs. Tebeau has never forgotten. Even in times of stress and tiredness, Mrs. Tebeau eagerly searches out new strategies, activities, and ideas to use with her students.
