Reservoir Engineer

Required experience and expertise

10+ years experience in reservoir engineering activities emphasizing large, multi-well,

reservoirs
Experience working on mature oil fields under water flood
Strong background in reservoir surveillance and optimisation
Experience in well test interpretation, material balance modelling and performance
prediction
Must have strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural environment is
a plus
Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff,
and management
Must have experience/knowledge of current computer software for reservoir
engineering applications
Must be familiar with reserves evaluation, classification, and booking
BSc Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, with a
Masters degree preferred

Desirable experience and expertise

Desirable to have experience in numerical reservoir simulation

Desirable to working knowledge of gas condensate reservoir as well as gas field
development experience.
Desirable to have experience in reservoir fluid sampling, fluid property modelling,
routine and special core analysis
Desirable to have experience mentoring less experienced engineers
Desirable to have experience in well performance modelling
