Fellowship Status Report

Code for America is

partnering
with Salt Lake County to build technology solutions to improve services and strengthen the relationship between the county and its citizens,
with an aim to lower the rate at which citizens fail to appear in court, for supervision and treatment appointments in addition to lowering the recidivism rate. To
accomplish these objectives, we pursue three workstreams - build, measure, learn - to iterate quickly and ensure our decisions are data-driven and user-focused.

Phase V - Iterative Development Sprints Part 2 (06/15/2016 to 08/05/2016)

Beta, avaialble at
c4a.me/slco-beta
, represents the close of phase IV and documents the process we have taken and the
work we have developed to this end. Phase V will be focused on feature maturation, refining the aspects of ClientComm
already being used. We will be prototyping tangible metrics concepts to understand how the use of our tool translates into
real value for our users, ie. time efficiency gained or money saved. Were also excited to introduce a new addition to our
team,
Max McDonnell, a contractor to help deliver technical components of ClientComm s
coped to our specs, so we we can
build faster. Our next trip to Salt Lake City that will take place 6/26 - 6/29. That trip will focus on meetings to plan for
sustainability of the work post fellowship and user research to help refine ClientComm.
