    Respected Sir
    I, Pranav B. Thakare (Roll No- 143010020) am currently pursuing M-Tech at
    Aerospace Engineering Department, IIT BOMBAY. I am admitted for PhD in this autumn
    semester at Aerospace Engineering Department, IIT- Bombay. Currently, I am living in the
    Hostel-12. But according to procedure, new PhD candidates have to shift to the Hostel-16 for
    1st-year. But I would like to continue here in the same hostel for my PhD tenure as I have
    already gone through the shifting of Hostel twice in my M-Tech and also my Lab-mates with
    whom I am working live in the Hostel-12.So it will be good for my study and work as well to live
    close to them.
    I have talked to Hall Manager of H-12 regarding retaining the Hostel and he
    suggested me to ask for your permission to do it. So I request you to allow me to continue to
    live in the Hostel-12. I will be very obliged. Thank You .
