Geocentric model (also
known as Geocentrism, or
the Ptolemaic system)
Earth is stationary (not
moving) and everything is
moving around us
It is simply the belief that
the Earth is fixed at the
center of the Universe.

ARISTOTLE
The Greek philosopher Aristotle is the
one who established the geocentric
universe, he believed that the
universe was perfect and finite, with
the Earth at the exact center of the
universe.

Aristotle. Incidentally, he argues in
this part of his book that
the earth is at rest in the center of
the universe,
it is spherical
it is small in comparison with the
other stars.
Geocentrists accept that the earth is
