1. Find the perimeter of triangle ABC with points A(2, 1), B(4, 5) and C(-2, 8).

coordinate of R.

9. The points P(t, 2t), Q(2a, b) and R(4a, 3b) are on a straight line. Q divides PR internally in the ratio 1:4. Show
that b = 6a.

10. Given points A(k, 5), B(0, 3) and C(5, 4). Find the possible values of k if the length of AB is twice the length of
BC.
