Why is it the same word proskuneo is used in one instance to denote worship mainly towards
God, but in reference to Jesus it is changed to denote obeisance in the New World Translation?

How can the word proskuneo be translated differently when the greek texts support the use of it
in both instances where it is different?

If obeisance means less than worship then why when it Peter received obeisance from Cornelius
did Peter tell him not to bow down to him if it was less than worship and more importantly why did
Peter tell him not to do that? It supports that even so in this verse obeisance is the same as worship so
why is it translated differently?
