    What is e-Farmer?

    e-Farmer is a free on-line mapping tool that allows landholders to create plans for future production,
    environmental and personal goals using an aerial photo backdrop. This tool provides an extension to
    the whole farm planning program.

    The program allows landholders to map and measure areas and distances, create infrastructure
    records and printable farm maps and store information on soil tests and other environmental
    parameters. Each landholder has their own private login so information is confidential and can be
    accessed from a home computer.

    This tool can help to plan and manage farm businesses so they can be more resilient and flexible to
    change.

    Participants attending an e-farmer training session receive a private log in code and can update their
    mapping at any time from the privacy of their own computer. The system (and aerial photo base) is
    accessed via broadband internet.
