December 3, 2009 Dear Ms, Feeley and Ms. Gialanella, | would like to take this opportunity to share with you my extreme satisfaction with my son's writing teacher, Mr. Brown this year. | feel Mr. Brown challenges the students to work hard, to be creative and adhere to deadlines. | have observed that he gives students assignments that are broken down into logical segments, giving corrective feedback during the process which enhances the learning process. | know from personal experience that getting students to want to write is not easy, but Mr. Brown successfully attempts to make the assignments interesting and fun, so as to get students interested. In addition, Mr. Brown has reached out to actively communicate to parents, so as to make them aware of expectations.
