Week #: 2

April 19, 2010 – April 25, 2010

April 19, 2010 is the first day of my second week at the company. By this day, I
already added the new program and schedule offered, generate excel form for students
information, create an ID for newly added program and modified student registration
form.

At this day also, my friend and I are tasked by the manager to deliver some
invitations at the Sangguniang Panglungsod for the incoming event conducted by the ICT
Davao, Inc.

On the proceeding day, I modified the statistics draft and added the new features
which refer to the newly added program and schedule.

By April 22, 2010, I then worked out the payments. I find out that in the payments
area, inputs were not been recorded in the database. Then, I finally made up my mind to
use a database to store inputs so they can have a basis for student’s payment.

At this day also, I was tasked by the head of the company to file or arrange some
sales report.

On the 23rd of April, I asked the cashier with regards with the flow of payments.
She said she wanted that student can merely pay whenever they wanted except for the
first payment. At her instructions, I then followed it out and somehow comprehend.

On the 24th and 25th of April is a seminar, an “e-Tapok, e-Waste Collection Event”
where we are invited. The venue is at the Market Basket Canopy Area / Damosa IT Park,
Lanang, Davao City. On the said event, we got to learn things such as having money and
an art from a thrash by just merely using your imaginative and creative skills.

On my second week at the MTC Academy really means a lot because I was able
to explore some things other than programming.
