dent Steve Segal to kick
around anymore. And it’s
been a long time since we’ve
had the other guy to kick
around.
Come to think of it, what was
the name of the other guy?
Oh, yeah: Steve Halvorson.
Ending the era of two presi-
dents named Steve is the
aim of frivolities planned for
this weekend: The double
debunk celebration sched-
uled Saturday night, June 5,
at Bilbo’s Bar & Grill, 8699
W. Charleston Blvd.
Debunk chairman Ken Cox
says he needs an RSVP — if
you haven’t done it, do it.
And he wants everyone to be
on time for the 5 p.m. open-
ing ceremony.
We’d better make sure we’ll
there. This is almost a once-
in-a-lifetime event. After all,
Ken’s been planning it a
long time: More than a year,
in fact.

exist? Does he have a clone to
help shoulder his workload?
In addition to his role as general
manager of the Las Vegas PBS
channel, Tom is president-elect
of the Las Vegas Rotary Club —
the big one.
He’s also active in local commu-
nity activities and played a criti-
cal role in the establishment of

T he 2010 Super-Build was the
best I’ve attended in three
years of going. It also was the
most satisfying and gratifying
Rotary Moment for me.
Corazon Super-Build, in which teams of Rotarians
erect houses for families in a deprived Mexican
village, is the official District 5300 International
project.
Our club has participated for four years. I’ve at-
tended three, as I said. Tom and Robin Novotny and
Tom — on the phone, of course — and Ken relax before work.

What’s it all about, Ted?

“They seek him here, they seek him there,” The Kinks sang
back in the 60s . “In Regent Street; in Leicester Square.
Eagerly pursing all the latest fashion trends, he’s a dedi-
cated follower of fashion.” Even a quick glance at his
clothes tells one that our Ted Baker is natty. But now we
know he has his own clothing store on London’s Regent
Street. Clearly it is our Ted who is the Dedicated Follower
of Fashion. Meanwhile, the store next door to the Ted
Baker emporium is called fcuk. That’s worth a fine!
