Aims of St Dominic’s Parent Council


• To work in partnership to create a welcoming school and nursery which is inclusive for all
parents
•To promote partnership between the school and nursery, its pupils and all its parents / carers,
parish and the wider community
• To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils
• To actively promote the work of the school and nursery
• To identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and
nursery, and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils
• To consider and contribute to the School Improvement Planning process with the Head
Teacher
