Introduction
This proposal is about semester project of the Database Management Systems Course
with the issue “Design of DBMS for 3D Spatial Data”. This study will be a very valuable
first step to decide which database modeling is the best solution for a huge data
processing and a storing system.

Keywords: Spatial Database; Database Management Systems; 3D-GIS; 3D

representation

Problem Statement
This project will responds to the problem about performance lack with the 3D Data
processing; and insufficiency of resources.

Objectives
The goal of this project is to choose best database modeling approach with the best
performance, optimum resource usage, minimum response time and efficient bandwidth
usage.

Method
The procedures will be about the research projects, the actual research especially
proposed as documents, books and articles on internet
