Cuando era Joven: Mi Juventud

It’s all about you, baby! Here’s your chance to prove it!

You will be creating and presenting a short book about your younger days.
You will tell about yourself and your life back then including what you used to do
regularly [imperfect tense]. You will also tell us about some important events in
your life up to now [preterite tense].

Important information:

• All work is to be done in class. We will work on this project in class: June
7-10th.

• Minimum of 4 pages of pictures, in color and easy to be seen by people in the

back of the room

• Creative, descriptive, and grammatically-correct sentences for each picture

that describe what is happening in them:
--- what you were like
--- what you used to do regularly
--- some important events in your life up to now

• Reading of the book in front of the class: reading with emotion and feeling
while adding descriptors and qualifiers that enhance what is written on the
pages [not just reading the book]

• This project is worth a total of 102 points and will serve as a test grade.
Please see the rubrics for details about how to earn the maximum number of
points.

• Presentations start on June 11th and will continue in class until we have
heard all the readings.
