Ayat 70. Verily, We took the covenant of the Children of Israel and sent them Messengers. Whenever there came to them a Messenger with what they themselves desired not - a group of them they called liars, and others among them they killed.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [S.A.W.W](P.B.U.H) said, "Beware of oppression, for oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection; and beware of stinginess because it destroyed those who were before you. It incited them to shed their blood and deem unlawful as lawful.'' [Muslim]. Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ma'idah Ayat 70. Verily, We took the covenant of the Children of Israel and sent them Messengers. Whenever there came to them a Messenger with what they themselves desired not - a group of them they called liars, and others among them they killed. and in Ayat 32 "there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!. Oppression, aggression unlawful killing or murders and injustice or to dominate harshly & to subject a person or a people to a harsh or cruel form of domination is prohibited in Islam. The lives and properties of Muslims are inviolable for each other. In other words, it means that each of them is a protector and guardian of the life, property and honour of the other.
