• High-end venue to cater to World Cup enthusiasts as part of DSS
2010 events

Dubai, 9 June, 2010: World Cup fans are in for a treat as “One”, a luxurious Marquee
built especially for the occasion of 2010 FIFA World Cup, is set to open its doors today
to receive spectators of the upcoming global event running from 11th June to 11th July.
The organisers have planned an extravagant launch that will see the famous Lebanese
singer Nancy Ajram performing at the Marquee, in addition to the presence of Naseem
Hamid, the British, Yemeni origin, boxer and former Bantamweight and Featherweight
champion, as the Guest of Honour.

Presented by du, and supported by Coca-Cola as the Official Partner, the high-end venue
will be one of the main attractions of the upcoming Dubai Summer Surprises 2010. Fully-
equipped with state-of-the-art 35 Plasma screens in addition to two 2 X 3 meters giant
screens, the Marquee will also offer its visitors a great menu of food and beverages in
addition to shiesha to set the mood of excitement and cheering across the 2 floored venue.

Ghanim Al Ghanim, MD of Glory Horizons, the company behind organizing the month
long event said: “One” is the fruit of long months of careful planning and sophisticated
cooperation between several entities - whether it was the AC units, the plasma screens or
the whole setting. We have spared no efforts in bringing the latest technology to this great
venue that is set to accommodate around 600 spectators.”

Al Ghanim, who is also the official distributor of FIFA Merchandise in the GCC region
during the 2010 world cup, stressed that the Marquee is fully equipped and designed with
the highest standards of materials and safety systems, “We thank our sponsors for
supporting this innovative project, and we are also excited to one of the main DSS
attraction for this edition.”

most anticipated event by hundreds of millions across the planet.”

Tayyar also expressed his contentment to have the extremely popular Lebanese singer
Nancy Ajram inaugurating the event as part of her cooperation with Coca-Cola, “We are
delighted to have Nancy with us for this evening and singing with the audience the
official anthem of the world cup. We always strive to add value and excitement in all our
endeavours, and we have several similar initiatives lined up for the world cup period that
will surly please our fans in Dubai and UAE reinforce our aim of spreading happiness
and joy among all.”

The festivities of the day will start at 4:30 pm with jugglers and entertainers to interact
with all the crowds around the Marquee area, then at 6:00 a colourful parade of more than
40 performers, courtesy of DSS, will tour the whole area until they reach the “One” patio,
creating a great festive atmosphere. Later on the crowd will be joined by Nancy Ajram,
who will perform some of her best songs in the presence of the local and regional media
in addition to the guest of honour the boxing legend Naseem Hamid.
