TEMPORARY WEEKEND

CONSTRUCTION REGULATION
Beginning the weekend of June 12th/13th, 2010

! EAST 61ST STREET BETWEEN APPROACH ROADWAY AND 1ST AVENUE

Starting the weekend of June 12 /13 , 2010, and continuing on the weekends through June and July (exception of July

3 /4 ) the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation will be removing and installing structural steel for the tram tower

located at East 60 Street between the Queensboro Bridge Approach Roadway and 1 Avenue, which requires parking
restrictions along the affected roadways where traffic will be impacted. In order to allow for additional travel lanes on
local streets, there will be “No Stopping Anytime Temporary Construction” regulations along the streets noted
above starting from 12:01 AM Saturday to 11:59 PM Sunday.

PARKED VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED


Vehicles that are parked along the restricted streets noted above during these hours will be towed to a nearby location
and owners may be summonsed.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN TOWED

If your vehicle has been towed, please call the 19 Precinct at (212) 452-0600.

WEATHER IMPACTS
In the event of extreme weather conditions during any of these weekends, the work will be rescheduled.
