The idea of purity both

interests and worries me.

I cant be pure, in the
purest sense of the word;
you cant either.
Weve been raped at the hands
of capitalism and religion.
But maybe we can be pure,
in ourselves, in our little world
in our little ways. Or
maybe we can be renewed;
the waters of your soul,
trickling over the falls,
the malevolent sediment drifting
inertly to the floor.
A dead, solid mess.
