(New York: June 18, 2010): Known for holding politicians accountable on the issues working-
and middle-class families care about, like good jobs, fair taxes, good schools, reliable public
transportation, affordable housing, and universal healthcare, the WFP endorses Adriano
Espaillat as the progressive candidate to replace Eric Schneiderman in the 31st Senate
district.

Adriano has a consistent legislative record of results on the issues that matter to working families
in our community," said Dan Cantor, WFP Executive Director. "Whether it is making sure our
schools get their fair share of funding, our seniors get the services they need or workers have the
right to join a union, denouncing immigration abuse. Adriano Espaillat has always been there for
working families when it counts.

The Working Families Party (WFP) fights hard for the middle class and I am honored by their
endorsement. In the State Senate I look forward to building on the work we have done together
to make this City a good place to raise a family and provide a more secure future for the hard
working families of New York. Said Adriano Espaillat of the endorsement
