David Everston is a 30 year old bartender living in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was born and raised in New Jersey. He moved to Charlotte from New York City
one year ago. In New York, David had studied theater with hopes of acting on th
e stage. Everston is talented, has a dry wit and an eyebrow that cocks when he
laughs. He acted in small roles in a few college performances, but never made it
onstage beyond university. He found out through a friend that many films and t
elevision shows were shooting in North Carolina and the work was much easier to
get than in the hyper-competitive entertainment cities.
David currently shares a small two bedroom apartment with his college friend Dan
in downtown Charolette. Dan s girlfriend Jenny is a temp and stays over most of
the time. David works at a family Italian restaurant five nights a week. He lov
es to perform behind the bar and will often present a monologue along with the d
rinks to adoring regulars. His one man show behind the bar provides him with a
healthy amount of tips, and he is the restaurant s most popular staff member. On
the weekends, David works at a small local theater running sound and lights for
an original one-man show.
David has been dating a 45 year old high school theater teacher named Ada for se
veral months. She reminds him of his favorite teacher from high school, who he
had a crush on for three years. The relationship is not particularly serious, b
ut they both love to watch musicals and go to yard sales. Everston is currently
enrolled in an acting workshop and is putting together a small play with some o
f his classmates. He hopes to present it at the local community theater.
