RESOLUTION FOR STATE FISCAL MUNICIPALITY’S PRELIMINARY TAX

BILL A/K/A FY ‘11 1ST AND 2ND QUARTER TAX BILL

Resolution #10R- WHEREAS, Chapter 72, Public Laws 1994, requires a

municipality operating under the State Fiscal year to certify a preliminary tax levy
by resolution to the Director of Division of Local Government Services to be utilized
in the calculation of the Municipal portion of the Fiscal Year 1st & 2nd installments
aka Calendar Year 3rd & 4th installments of property taxes, and,

WHEREAS, the Municipal Clerk, Chief Finance Officer and Tax Collector of
Ewing Township of Mercer County have computed the preliminary tax levy within
the range allowed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of Ewing

Township of Mercer County that the preliminary tax levy in the sum of
$9,539,956.76 is authorized to be used for the calculation of the Fiscal Year 1st & 2nd
installments aka Calendar Year 3rd & 4th installments of the property taxes.

IT IS SO RESOLVED.

the above is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Governing Body of the
Township of Ewing at a Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Municipal Council of
the Township of Ewing, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey held on the 22nd day
of June, 2010.
