The purpose of Evangelism Training International is to obey Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19 to go and teach all the nations about Him. In this rests the main focus of Evangelism Training Intemational, teaching others how to evangelize family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even the ‘man on the street’ about the Love of Jesus Christ. Evangelism Training International Mission Statement One of the primary needs recognized early on in our ministry was that of the plight of pastors in other lands, primarily (but not limited to) the expansive continent of Africa. It is our firm belief that training foreign nationals will spread the message of Jesus Christ further, and faster, than if we trained individual groups themselves. Africa is so open to the Gospel and is also in such a desperate need of training considering the steps that Muslims are currently undertaking to quite literally drive people to their lost religion. What are we doing to address these needs? Our organization, in conjunction with a South African ministry, travels to South Africa to conduct training sessions focused on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love for ALL nationals. We do this at no cost to the foreign nationals, which are primarily the pastors and lay ministry personnel from South African churches and ministries. Our expenses are met by donations from dedicated people, companies, and organizations based primarily in the United States. What principles or beliefs guide our work? There four words from a popular song lyric that guides us: “People Need The Lord’, our belief in the Bible being the inerrant Word of God, and lastly the “Great Commission” given us in Matthew 28:19. As we are reminded in Matthew 9:37, “Then saith he (Jesus) unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few”.
