RESEARCH METHODOLGY

• The research procedure used in the project is exploratory. The primary purpose of
exploratory research is to provide insights into the problem.

• Adidas Taylormade has still not started marketing its Golf accessories and
equipments in a big way and so
before making the big splash in India it wanted to do a research on it and that was the
main purpose of this project.

DATA SOURCES

• Main Information was collected through primary sources. It consists of original


information collected for a specific purpose.

• Some Information that was for the booklet, was collected from secondary sources
like websites.

• The data was gathered using questionnaires and by face to face interaction with
the respondents.

SOURCES OF PRIMARY DATA

• Respondents of the Questionnaire (School children).

SAMPLE PLAN
1. SAMPLE UNITS: Respondents from the area covered.

2. SAMPLE SIZE (n) : 407 with no upper limit.

3. SAMPLE PROCEDURE: Judgmental sampling.

DATA COLLECTION

Primary data was collected through direct communication


with the respondents (customers) through personal
interaction and questionnaires.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

• To collect primary data, the research instrument used was questionnaire. Data was
collected by the Survey Method.

• In this project, the questionnaire that was employed was made as simple as
possible keeping into mind the discerning ability of the respondents of this project
who were school children.
