Operations Manager Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Staff including all drivers and other bus personnel. This includes keeping staffing at proper levels, interviewing
and new hire paperwork, licensure, insurance submission, and maintaining professionally trained drivers.
Additionally they are responsible for payroll communication, the new driver training, and paperwork.
b. Mmonitoring of productivity in sales for the bus staff and for quote approvals. Critique and govern incoming
contracts from sales. The Operations Manager must be able to use our event reservation, and have a strong
knowledge of the sales techniques.
c. Daily scheduling and dispatching of the drivers and maintaining a list of on call and "ready" drivers is mandatory
24 hours a day/7 days a week.
d. Responsible for the orderly running of the vehicle
e. Monitoring all supplies, mechanical parts, bus maintenance
f. Managing of tracking devices, ecommerce, communication, surveillance

a. Excellent communication & organizational skill
b. Dedication to professionalism & precision
c. Good listener
d. Astute multi-tasker
e. Experience in logistics, managing people, operations, or transportation a must

CITY OF HOUSTON JITNEY LICENSE REQUIRED- once hired

Salary: Commesurate with experience


Hours: Flexible, some weekend hours required
