Monitor
Monitor is the output device that is used as an output to see the image. There are two
type of monitor that will be discussed.

CRT(Cathode Ray Tube)- using the same technology like TV but using digital signals. It uses
vacuum tube as a screen display at the computer.

Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT LCD)- more lighter, slim, thin and use less
power supply than CRT. However, the price is more expensive than CRT monitor.

There are many size of the monitor. The size which is commonly used are 14” and 15”. When
buying a monitor, the resolution on the monitor also an important part for we to take note so that
we will enjoy the satisfaction display of the image (output) by tha monitor. Pixel which is 0.18mm
is good than pixel which is 0.22mm.
