Structure -1 Sub + Verb

পাখী উড়ে ।
S = পাখীরা ( Birds ) ।
V = উড়ে ( fly ) ।
পাখী উড়ে = Birds fly.

চাঁদ কিরণ দেয় ।

S = চাঁদ (The moon ) ।
V = কিরণ দেয় ( shine ) ।
চাঁদ কিরণ দেয় = The moon shines.

আমরা সকলেই নিঃশ্বাস নেই ।

We all breath.
আমরা সকলেই খাই এবং পান করি ।
We all eat and drink.
সূর্য উঠেছিল ।
The sun rose.
ফারহানা ঘুমাচ্ছিল ।
Farhana was sleeping.
ঘন্টাটি বেজেছে ।
The bell has rung.

Structure 2 Subject + Verb + Subject Complement

এটি একটি কলম ।

S = এটি ( This )
V = হয় ( is )
SC = একটি কলম ( a pen )
এটি একটি কলম = This is a pen.

তার ভাই একজন সৈণিক হয়েছিল ।

S = তার ভাই ( His brother )
V = হয়েছিল ( became )
SC = একজন সৈণিক ( a soldier)
তার ভাই একজন সৈণিক হয়েছিল = His brother became a soldier

এটা আমি ।
It is me.
আবহওয়া উষ্ণতর হচ্ছে (getting warmer) ।
Weather is getting warmer.
ওটাই যথেষ্ঠ ( Enough) হবে ।
That is enough.
পরিকল্পণা অকেজো (useless) প্রমাণিত হলো (proved) ।
The plan proved useless.
তার সপ্ন (dream) সত্যি (true) হয়েছিল ।
His dream came true.
আমটি নরম (soft) বোধ হচ্ছে (feels)।
The mango feels soft.

Structure 3 Subject + Verb + Direct Object

আমি তার ঠিকানা জানি ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = জানি ( know )
O1 = তার ঠিকানা ( his address )
আমি তার ঠিকানা জানি = I know his address.

মাকসুদ দরজাটা খুলেছিল ।

S = মাকসুদ ( Maksud )
V = খুলেছিল ( opened )
O1 = দরজাটা ( the door )
মাকসুদ দরজাটা খুলেছিল = Maksud opened the door.

আমি ঠান্ডা আবহওয়া পছন্দ করি না ।

I do not like cold weather.

মিঃ এজাজ একটি নতু ন গাড়ী কিনেছেন ।

Mr. Azaz has bought a new car.

মেয়েটি তার আনন্দের হাসি (a merry laugh) হেসেছিল ।

The girl laughed a merry laugh.

আমি এইমাত্র আমার প্রাতরাশ খেয়েছি ।

I have just eaten my breakfast.

সে সবসময় দরিদ্রদের সাহায্য করে ।

He always hepls the poor.

Structure 4 Subject + Verb + Indirect Object + Direct Object

শিক্ষক আমাদেরকে বাড়ীর কাজ দিয়েছিলেন ।

S = শিক্ষক (The teacher )
V = দিয়েছিলেন (gave )
O1 = আমাদেরকে (us )
O2 = বাড়ীর কাজ ( homework )
শিক্ষক আমাদেরকে বাড়ীর কাজ দিয়েছিলেন = The teacher gave us homework.
বৃদ্ধ লোকটি আমাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণ গল্প টি বলেছিলেন ।
S = বৃদ্ধ লোকটি ( The old man )
V = বলেছিলেন ( told )
O1 = সম্পূর্ণ গল্প টি ( the whole story )
O2 = আমাদেরকে (us )
বৃদ্ধ লোকটি আমাদেরকে সম্পূর্ণ গল্প টি বলেছিলেন = The old man told us the whole story.

Grandfather told us a funny story.

He made himself a cup of tea.
I wish you success.
They wishes their teacher good morning.
Please throw me that book.
I struck him a blow.

Structure 5 Subject + Verb + Direct Object + Preposition + Indirect Object

রিমি আমাদের সকলের জন্য কফি তৈরি করেছিল ।

S = রিমি ( Rimi )
V = তৈরি করেছিল ( made )
O1 = কফি ( coffe )
P = জন্য ( for )
O2 = আমাদের সকলের ( all of us )
রিমি আমাদের সকলের জন্য কফি তৈরি করেছিল = Rimi made coffe for all of us.

সে খবরটা গ্রামের মধ্যে প্রত্যেককে বলেছিল ।

S = সে ( He )
V = বলেছিল ( told )
O1 = খবরটা ( the news )
P = উদ্দেশ্যে ( to )
O2 = গ্রামের মধ্যে প্রত্যেককে ( everybody in the village )
সে খবরটা মধ্যে প্রত্যেককে বলেছিল = He told the news to everybody in the village.

She made a new blouse for herself.

I don’t lend money to anybody.
Farhana got a pen for me.
I owe two hundred taka to my sister.
Boys threw stones at the frogs.
I congratulate you on your success.
They protected me form my enemies.

Structure 6 Subject + Verb + Object + Noun

আমরা ছেলেটিকে বাপ্পী বলে ডাকি ।

S = আমরা ( We )
V = বলে ডাকি ( call )
O = ছেলেটিকে ( the boy )
P = বাপ্পী ( Bappy )
আমরা ছেলেটিকে বাপ্পী বলে ডাকি = We call the boy Bappy.

আমরা জনাব কাদেরকে চেয়ারম্যান নির্বাচন করেছিলাম ।

S = আমরা ( We )
V = নির্বাচন করেছিলাম (elected )
O = জনাব কাদেরকে ( Mr. Kader )
N = চেয়ারম্যান ( chairman )
আমরা জনাব কাদেরকে চেয়ারম্যান নির্বাচন করেছিলাম = We elected Mr. Kader chairman.

People crowned Richard king.

We named him King Kong.
The managing committee appointed Mr. Ahmed headmaster.

Structure 7 Subject + Verb + Object + Adjective

সূর্য আমাদেরকে উষ্ণ রাখে ।

S = সূর্য ( The sun )
V = রাখে ( keeps )
O = আমাদেরকে ( us )
Adj. = উষ্ণ ( warm )
সূর্য আমাদেরকে উষ্ণ রাখে = The sun keeps us warm.

লোকটি ধাক্কা দিয়ে দরজাটি খুলেছিল।

S = লোকটি ( The man )
V = ধাক্কা দিয়েছিল (pushed )
O = দরজাটি ( the door )
Adj. = খোলা ( open )
লোকটি ধাক্কা দিয়ে দরজাটি খুলেছিল = The man pushed the door open.

Get, keep, beat, drive, make, paint, leave, turn, find, like, wish.

We painted the box white.

Get yourself ready.
Nishi washed the paltes clean.
The theif brock the safe open.
The turned the lamp low.
You have made your shirt dirty.
We found the truck empty.

Structure 8 Subject + Verb + Noun/Pronoun + Plain Infinitive

আমি তাকে বাহিরে যেতে দেখলাম ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = দেখলাম ( saw )
O = তাকে ( him )
Inf. = বাহিরে যেতে ( go out )
আমি তাকে বাহিরে যেতে দেখলাম = I saw him go out.

লোকটি তাকে হাত ঘড়িটি চু রি করতে দেখেছিল ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = দেখেছিল ( saw )
O = তাকে ( him )
Inf. = হাত ঘড়িটি চু রি করতে ( steal the watch )
লোকটি তাকে হাত ঘড়িটি চু রি করতে দেখেছিল = The man saw him steal the watch.

See, watch, notice, observe, hear, listen, feel, make, let, help, bid (আদেশ করা/ নিলামে আহবান করা).
We heard her sing.
The thief felt someone touch his arm.
Let me go.
We made Aminul behave well.
He asked them leave the house.
I have never seen him behave so badly.
The master made his servant do the work.
He didn’t hear me say this.The Inspector watched him take the bribe.

Structure 9 Subject + Verb + Object + ( to be ) + Complement

আমি তাকে নির্দোশ বলে বিশ্বাস করি ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = বিশ্বাস করি ( beleave)
O = তাকে ( him )
Com. = নির্দোশ বলে ( to be ) innocent )
আমি তাকে নির্দোশ বলে বিশ্বাস করি = I beleave him (to be) innocent.

আমরা তাকে বোকা ভেবেছিলাম ।

S = আমরা ( We )
V = বিশ্বাস করি ( thought)
O = তাকে ( him )
Com. = বোকা (to be ) foolish )
আমরা তাকে বোকা ভেবেছিলাম = We thought him (to be) foolish.

Apoint, choose, elect, make, call, name, nominate, crown.

We think Apu (to be) a good boy.

The man proved Sumon (to be) a fool.
The authorities considered me (to be) honest.
People supposed him (to be) a patriot.
They reported Aminul (to be) a reliable person.
The court appointed her guardian of the orphan child.

Structure 10 Subject + Verb + Object + Present Participle

আমি তাকে চীৎকার করতে শুনেছিলাম ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = শুনেছিলাম ( heard )
O = তাকে ( him )
Pre. P = চীৎকার করতে ( shouting )
আমি তাকে চীৎকার করতে শুনেছিলাম = I heard him shouting.

প্রিন্সিপাল সাহেব আমাদেরকে অপেক্ষমান রেখেছিলেন ।

S = প্রিন্সিপাল সাহেব ( The principal )
V = রেখেছিলেন ( kept )
O = আমাদেরকে ( us )
Pre. P = অপেক্ষমান ( waiting )
প্রিন্সিপাল সাহেব আমাদেরকে অপেক্ষমান রেখেছিলেন = The principal kept us waiting.

See, hear, smell, feel, watch, notice, find, observe, listen, get, catch, keep, leave, set, start.

I saw him crossing the bridge.

We smell something burning.
We noticed the boy walking down the street.
She caught him opening the letter.
They found him playing crds.
She kept the fire burning.
Please start the clock going.

Structure 11 Subject + Verb + Object + Past Participle

আমি আমার নাম ডাকা হয়েছিল শুনেছিলাম ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = শুনেছিলাম ( heard )
O = আমার নাম (my name )
Past. P = ডাকা হয়েছিল ( called )
আমি আমার নাম ডাকা হয়েছিল শুনেছিলাম = I heard my name called.

আমি এই চিঠিটা টাইপ করা চাই ।

S = আমি ( I )
V = চাই ( want )
O = এই চিঠিটা ( this letter )
Past. P = টাইপ করা ( typed )
আমি এই চিঠিটা টাইপ করা চাই = I want this letter typed.
