EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
‘The proposed project is located on the south side of Hilleary Place, between Community
Road and Midland Road in the City of Poway. oe ee
The project is proposed to contain a155,000 square foot Wal-Mart store and two free
standing restaurant/financial buildings. The project is expected to generate 14,900 ADT with
235 inbound/160 outbound trips during the morning peak hour and 725 inbound/725
outbound trips during the afternoon peak hour.
Six key intersections were analyzed for the existing, existing plus related project and the
‘existing plus related project plus project conditions. The existing operations before the
project are generally good except at the Community Road/Poway Road intersection (LOS
D)
The addition of traffic from the related project (Creekside Plaza) is calculated to have
significant but mitigatable traffic impacts.
