The poem discusses the difficulties of being a doctor who is unable to save all patients despite their best efforts. It expresses the feelings of helplessness, guilt, and inadequacy that doctors may experience when patients die on their watch. While doctors try their best and are responsible for providing care, they are not ultimately at fault when some lives cannot be saved due to limits of medical science or fate.

When we wake up and see the pain We feel too bad to cure the way When we see pain that we had caused We think that it was not our fault But that’s not true. A lie won’t help We’re still responsible for death We are still responsible for those Who come to us and asked for cure We still have things to answer for We still have lives to save for those That gave us faith we don’t deserve. We tried and tried but they still die And we feel helpless every time Because we feel that it’s our job To save these people that are bad We feel like that and want to die Because we see our fault in that But sometimes we just have to go Let all the bad things stay at home Leave all ourselves and leave just corpse That will walk in the OR ready and sure The corpse that knows what does he do But still he’ll never be as good As normal people here all are We need emotions when we try To save a life and cure the pain We need to be those people that Have just compassion not just cut Have love and faith in their hearts And then we will be able to Save many lives like we could do
