Yoga as experienced by me

I heard of yoga in seventh class accidently from my math’s teacher accidently thereby meaning addition. As i grew up i
read in books that it also means the union of aatma with paramatma. This definition looks short but is not simple. Some
authors describe it with some good stretching poses while some describes it with some spiritual philosophical knowledge.
Like most i was also stuck between the two. Later with the Guru grace only i realized the truth.

Yoga is neither some poses nor some spiritual knowledge but a combination of both, however
either of them is not the goal. Ashtang yoga starts with yama and ends at Samadhi. Thus it is very much clear that the last
step of yoga is to achieve Samadhi. However u cannot do anything to get Samadhi. Not doing anything is Samadhi, it’s a
happening. When activity of mind ceases or slows down then Samadhi happens and it happens truly through His grace
only.

I observed all the pictures of God and i found none other than Lord Shiva rapped in
meditation all the time. His actions represents the innocence and his dance represents the joy (masti) in him. He is
considered as the only God who drank all the poision and holds the great Ganga. Thus innocence, joy, the power to drink
all the negative emotions, thoughts & to hold the ultimate knowledge, these all things come as a fruit of Samadhi.

Like u can never completely explain sour until u taste it yourself, similarily no words can ever
explain Samadhi until u yourself experience it. Wake up and explore yourself this aspect of life. Jai Gurudev.
