Mr. Wilson;

I’ve spent a lot of time traveling across the 6th district. In fact, just this weekend I
conducted an RV tour of Mahoning, Columbiana, Jefferson, Belmont, Monroe and
Washington Counties. As you might expect, I heard from a lot of people about their
concerns. But, one thing popped up over and over – the people were glad to see me.
They were thrilled to hear my thoughts and they were pleased that they had an
opportunity to share theirs.

And they want to hear from you, too. Many folks volunteered that they hadn’t had
the opportunity to meet you, and they truly want that opportunity. With that in
mind, I propose a series of 12 debates – one in each county – to take place between
now and the general election in November.

With less than 100 days remaining, the citizens grow more and more interested in
where we stand on the issues. I’m positive we can find sponsors and locations easily,
and I’m happy to take the lead on planning that effort if you would provide me with a
contact on your campaign with whom my staff can communicate.
