1.2.1 Event Raises Awareness and Funds for Wildlife

in the Gulf
Simultaneous events in Richmond and D.C. benefit National
Wildlife Federation

Richmond, VA (July 23, 2010) – It’s called 1.2.1 – One Date,

Two Cities, One Cause, and it’s aimed at raising awareness and funds
to save and heal wildlife injured by the oil spill in the Gulf.

1.2.1. (www.121gulfevent.com) will be held simultaneously in

Richmond from 7 – 10 p.m. and Washington, D.C., from 6 – 10 p.m., on
Aug. 11. The Richmond event will be held at the Glave Kocen Gallery at
1620 W. Main St., and the D.C. event will be held at the Policy
Restaurant and Lounge, 1904 14th St. NW.

“We felt compelled to contribute in some way to the situation in

the Gulf,” said Dave Perry, one of the event organizers and an
advertising account executive with Free Agents Marketing. “Some of
the most emotional images to come out of the disaster have been the
photographs of the wildlife. By working through the National Wildlife
Federation, we know the proceeds from the events will go directly to
the cause.”

The National Wildlife Federation has sanctioned the event.

Richmond sponsors include Glave Kocen Gallery
(www.glavekocengallery.com), Free Agents Marketing
(www.freeagentsmarketing.com), Mosaic Café and Catering
(www.mosaicedibles.com) and Olio (www.oliorichmond.com).

Entry to the Richmond event is a $30 donation which will cover

food, two drinks and live music by BJ Kocen. Entry to the D.C. event is
a $15 donation; cocktails, snacks and music will be available. For more
information, to register or to make a donation, go to
