(for students in the Queen’s Commerce Program)

The Queen’s School of Business Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CCSR) program offers participating students an
opportunity to augment their Bachelor of Commerce Degree with an experience-based, integrative exposure to the dynamic field of
Corporate Social Responsibility. Those who complete the requirements for the CCSR will bring to their employers an in-depth
understanding of leading-edge thinking and practice on strategic dilemmas and opportunities regarding Corporate Social Responsibility.

In order to earn the CCSR, students must complete the following requirements:
• Fully participate in three CSR Weekends (or equivalent) over the four years of the Commerce program. These
weekends will contain an exciting array of highly participative activities.
• Pass an evaluative component associated with each of the CSR Weekends in which the student participates.
• Actively participate in a total of 60 hours in approved volunteer outreach activities (over the course of the program).
• Complete 2.0 credits from the approved Ethics/CSR list of courses as part of the student’s selection of electives
during the four years in the Commerce program. Of those, 1.0 credit must be from courses offered by the
