UPA Elementary DRESS CODE

A uniform code of dress has been established for University Preparatory

Academy. Each student enrolled is required to be in complete uniform
daily, and to abide by the policies set by the school. All students must
keep their shirts and blouses tucked inside their clothing at all times.
BOYS
 Red, Black or White shirts with collar
 Black or Khaki Slacks with Belt-NO DENIM
 Red, Brown, Black or White Socks
 Black or Brown Soft Soled Oxford Type/Gym Shoe-MUST BE ONE
SOLID COLOR
 Black or Red Sweaters ONLY (without any designs, letters or
names)-NO HOODIES, PULLOVERS
 UPA FLEECES during cold weather months
 White undershirts allowed under uniform shirt (no designs)
GIRLS
 Red, Black or White shirts with collar
 Black or Khaki Slacks, Skirt/Skort with Belt-NO DENIM
 School Plaid Skirts/Jumpers-SCHOOLBELLS ONLY
 Skirts and Skorts must come to the knee
 Red, Brown, Black or White Socks
 Black or Brown Soft Soled Oxford Type/Gym Shoe-MUST BE ONE
SOLID COLOR
 Black or Red Sweaters ONLY (without any designs, letters or
names)-NO HOODIES, PULLOVERS
 UPA FLEECES during cold weather months
 White undershirts allowed under uniform shirt (no designs)
 Stud Earrings or Small hoops for safety

Students are not permitted to wear:

 Gym shoes or tennis shoes (only for P.E. classes)
 Tank or Sleeves Shirts
 Large Belt Buckles
 Logos on Shirts, Sweaters or Shoes
 Collarless Shirts-no t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.
CHRONIC UNIFORM VIOLATIONS WILL REQUIRE A MEETING WITH THE PRINCIPAL
