What is the scavenger hunt?

This is part of the touring for each center. HOWEVER, remembered to

FIRST explain the center (what it is, what you do there, what subjects
do you learn there, etc..), SECOND play an ice breaker together (both
groups in the center), and then third you open the scavenger PAK and
find the items on the list per each center with your group only. It’s like
a PHOTO scavenger hunt because you must take a picture with each
item you find. ALL freshmen in your group must be in the picture plus
one tour guide.

What does the runner do?

RUNNERS

At the beginning, I need all of you guys waiting at the front office
area to gather about 10-15 freshmen to take on a crazy route to
the cafeteria.

When the touring starts, your job is to run the cameras back and
forth to the cafeteria to get scored by

Trang Nguyen (Me): If you’re in Groups 1,2,3

Aayna Shamsi: Groups 4,5,6

Han Tran: Groups 7,8,9

Marlene Sanchez: Groups 10,11, 12

What does the Team Leader do?

You guys keep order and make sure the rules are followed!

- DO NOT, DO NOT tell the freshmen they will FAIL any classes
this year

- Don’t tell the freshmen that a certain teacher is terrible

- Please don’t wander from your group at any time

- If you tell them to procrastinate, tell them they better be

willing to pull that all nighters
 - Let them know that if you do work hard, you can make the
grades and pass even the hardest classes like APUSH/AP3

- Be positive this year, ten points for any group that’s the
craziest (kidding about points)

- Keep count of how many kids you have

- Don’t let them get behind the counter/ get on tables

- Don’t let them bring anything outside of the center

- Do not play dangerous ice breakers

Can we bring a friend along?

No. No. No. Sorry guys, Maness will kick your friend out and making
him/her wait while the freshman stare at him/her would be pretty
terrible.

What time?

7 a.m. If after 7:30 a.m., you are facing the JAR OF DOOM.
