We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us his Spirit. And we have seen
and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior
of the world.

God, God li ves i n him a nd he i n G od. And s o we
know a nd re ly on the love G od h as for us.
God i s love. Whoever live s i n love lives in G od,
and God i n hi m. In this wa y love i s m ade
complete a mong us so tha t we w ill ha ve
confidenc e on the da y of j udgm en t, bec ause i n
th is worl d we a re li ke h im.

We love because
he first loved us.
If anyone says,
“I love God”, yet hates his brother, he is a liar.
For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen,
cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
 And he has given us this command:
WHOEVER LOVES GOD MUST ALSO LOVE HIS BROTHER
