Dr.Vasanth will demonstrate a different impression technique which he has been

using with great results, for crown and bridge impressions. The technique is
ideally suited for single or two crowns or a three unit bridge.

Advantages:

1. Minimal chair side time. Impression time including both primary and wash
is just 4 minutes! Because the technique uses a triple tray the opposing
teeth impression and the bite is also completed in the same time.
2. Use of retraction cord or other tissue management procedures are not
required. Still get impressions which records sub-gingival prep margin and
the sulcus beyond!

There will be a short presentation describing the theory and logic behind the
technique. The model pouring method and lab instructions which are essential for
the success of this technique will be explained. This will be followed by real
patient demonstration. The demos will be repeated for every batch of 8 to10
doctors to make it more observable. This will be followed by demonstration of the
method of pouring the impression in dental stone which is very important for the
success of this impression technique.
