Creating Bubbles

1 Open up photoshop
and load the image
you want to apply a
bubble to

2 In the layers menu

click on the create a
new layer button to
create a new layer

4 Select the
3 Make sure the
circular selection
new layer is
tool (alt + click if
selected
it is underneath
square one

5 Hold down
the shift key
and draw a
perfect circle

6 Select a
bubble colour

8 Make it large
and soft 7 Select the
brush

9 Add a hint of
10 Right click on bubble colour
the layer and
select blending
options

11 Double click
on Inner Glow
12 Select your bubble
colour and play with the
values so it looks
natural

Adjust
the
13 Double
lighting
click on
angle
inner
shadow

14 Your are
adding a slight
shadow to the
edge
15 Press ctrl + E to
merge the layers
together

16 Select Filter >

Distort > Pinch

17 And apply a
bubble effect

18 Now Filter
> Render >
Lens Flare

19 Position and
adjust the flare

20 Finally ctrl + D to
remove the selection
