Warehouse manager in FMCG – job description

Duties

 Organize all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff.

 Setup layout & space management

 work organization chart

 maintain procedures such as SOP, 5S and application of other efficiency


management activities.

 Manage stock control and documentation.

 Planning, Organizing and Controlling of Warehouse’ over-all operations.

 Make plans to develop staffs of warehouse by internal/on-job training.

 Follow up & control of daily attendance, absence and over time.

 Ensure that workplace is healthy and safety

 security of the building and stock.

 Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.

 Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report,
consumption report, manpower status report to Logistics Manager.

 Manage ERP grogram against with actual activities.

 Writing and balancing daily bank deposits.

 Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporate.

 billing reports.

 Improvement & development of warehouse.

 Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective
warehouse administration.

 Scheduling of personnel based on client-supplied schedules according to forcaste

 Co ordination with commercial department for transaction


 Facility planning
