Seiri
• Seiri (Tidiness): Throw away all rubbish and
unrelated materials in the workplace.
• Seiton (Orderliness): Set everything in proper
place for quick retrieval and storage.

Seiketsu Shitsuke Seiton• Seiso (Cleanliness): Clean the workplace;

everyone should be a janitor.
• Seiketsu (Standardization): Standardize the
way of maintaining cleanliness.
• Shitsuke (Discipline): Practice 'Five S' daily -
Seiso make it a way of life; this also means
'commitment‘.
 5’S IN PARLE
• In Parle Products Pvt. Ltd. the organization has its own quality system,
known as PQS (Parle Quality system).
• This system takes care of the quality of workplace and employees
personal hygiene.
• 5’s is come under PQS along with HACCP (HAZARD ANALYSIS &
CRITICAL CONTOL POINT).
• This system is followed strictly in Parle because it is a Food product co.
• It helps employees to make easy their work, and also improves the
productivity of the plant.
• It also provide the safety to the employees.
• Because of the strict follow of the 5’s in Parle plant, it has zero accident
during the last year.
