    Cheese Cake Recipe

    The recipe was given to us by Rama, an Israeli friend from Evanston, IL.

    • Base (foundation)

    – Ingredients:
    ∗ 1 12 cup Graham Cracker crumbs
    ∗ 12 cup crushed walnuts
    ∗ 12 cup melted butter or margarine
    ∗ 12 teaspoon cinnamon
    – Mix with a spoon until mixture is consistent. Spread evenly at the bottom
    of the cake (spring form) pan

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    • Top:

    – Ingredients:
    ∗ 3 eggs (without shell)
    ∗ 2 packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
    ∗ 1 cup sugar
    ∗ 2 teaspoons vanilla
    ∗ grated lemon peel
    ∗ 24 oz. sour cream
    – Blend all but the sour cream until mixture is smooth.
    – Add sour cream and blend a little more
    – Pour over the base in the pan
    – Bake for an hour 350 dgrees oven
