Reaction Paper:

“Mulanay”

The movie was very enlightening, encouraging and it gives me more courage to
continue my dreams for the benefit of the many. Actually and honestly speaking, I am
having a sort of confusion in my head and heart what will be my job, what will be he
outcome of this course, am I going to succeed and will I truly help the people that
surrounds me. Truly being a doctor is not easy. The path of taking this course is like an
unending and mind twisting path that will surely populate my mind. There might be some
hindrances that will block my way.

When the movie started, I already judge it that this would be “boring” and
“sleepy” because of its cinematography was not that impressive and also the movie was
old already (including the actors and actresses). But as the time goes by, just like others
had said “Don’t judge the book by its cover!” I was shocked and amazed. (Yes, opposite
a while ago) I found out the true point why my teacher let us see this movie, and it’s
about “community service” and just to mention “medical” community service. I began to
watch the movie with a whole heart and start to internalize every part of it that these
things might happen also in me or maybe one of my classmates.

I should say the movie have high moral values. I am very much encourage and
inspired of what the doctors had done. It is truly hard to sacrifice the things you want just
to help the society. Even the family and friends have been put to second priority just to be
a lending hand to the lost people that need medical support. I realize that this course I’m
taking right now can be a way to help each person who needs me and maybe will help
change the mentality of the society when it terms to “community service”. I am wholly
hearted now to pursue this course that will definitely lead me to the top of my career.

Lastly, I should say that we as a child of God and citizen of this country let us do
the necessary things that will help to change our society. Even little things will definitely
contribute to form a bigger transformation in our country and soon in the world. I
conclude this with a quote: “It is hard to let go of something, when you PUT a HEART
on it!”
