WHEELS, AND TRANSMIT IT TO THE FRAME TO
THE SPRINGS, CONTROL ROD ARE A TORQUE
TUBE.
 IT PROVIDES AN ANCHORAGE FOR SPRINGS
SUPPORTS THE WEIGHT OF THE CAR AND FARMS

 THE INNER BEARING SUPPORTS THE FINAL DRIVE

THE INNER END OF THE HALF SHAFT TRANSMITRS
ONLY THE TURNING TORQUE AND NO OTHER FORCE
TO THIS END AND IS THERE FOR CALLED FLOATING.
THE OUTER END HAS TO TAKE BENDING STRESSES
DUE TO WHEEL WOBBLE, SKID AND ROTATION, THE
AXLE HAS TO TAKE THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE VEH.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLES.

CARS AND MEDIUM COMMERCIAL VEHICLE.

THE AXLE HOUSING HAVE TO RESIST ONLY


TORSIONAL STRESSES DUE TO DRIVING

 THE STRESSES CAUSED DUE TO WHEEL
WOBBLE, HWHEEL SKID AND WHEEL
ROTATION ARE RESISTED BY THE AXLE
HOURSING.
 THE AXLE SHAFT CAN EASILY BE REMOVED
WITHOUT REMOVING THE WHEELS REMAIN
INFACT EVEN IN THE AXLE SHAFT BRAKES.
 THIS ARRANGEMENT IS STRONGER,
HEAVIER AND COSTLY.
