Sub:-Consideration for change of option for revised salary under ORSP Rules 2008

Sir,

I ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………under
administrative control of ………………………………………….. beg to state the following few lines for your kind
consideration and favourable action.

I have joined as Junior Veterinary Officer,……………………. on probation on date……………………. and

after completion of probation period got regular scale of Junior Veterinary Officer on date……………………
and then promoted to the post of ……………………………………………………………………… on date
………………………….. During this period 6 th pay commission has come to force from date 1.1.2006 under
ORSP Rules 2008 but due to ignorance of rules and misinterpretation of 2 nd provision of rule 5 of ORSP
Rules 2008.I have exercised option for revised scale from date 1.1.2006 instead of my date of promotion
on date………………………...Subsequently I came to know from various sources that if I had exercised
option to come over to the revised scale on the date of promotion i.e. on date ………………………… I will be
financially benefitted. Since it was not possible on my part to interpret the rules properly and correctly, I
am sustaining loss on account of wrong exercising of option.

Therefore I may kindly request you to allow me for exercising fresh option on the date of
promotion so that I shall be benefitted and hence obliged.
