Forbidden Passions

pro dulcis princeps Poeta Ricardo Sal LaRosa

The soft warmth of her skin upon mine, Stolen moments pinched in secret; For ours is a social taboo; Labeled thusly by unjust institutions, Always willing to impose their double standards, Upon the blind masses, But never themselves, These cowards, Gutless parasitical hypocrites, Will not allow us to love, One another in peace

Joyous sweet princess of my heart, Enjoying endless times together, Nothing more precious to me, Nothing more scared to my soul, Inspirational are your coy glances, For me and only for me, My secret valentine, My sin, My passion, My sweetness sweet, How wonderful are your glimpses at me, When you sneak a peek, At this madman, You look at me with such seriousness, As though you were looking, Through me, Straight into my soul, Wondering I do not know what! And this poet, Falling fervently in love with you! My sweet princess! 12 March 2010 - Long Island, New York Revised 31 August 2012 Freeport, New York
