Why are there so

many homeless and

hungry in Congo?
 Congo
• Congo is located central Africa

 Have you ever been forced to
sleep where there is no shelter or
warmth in fear of been killed?

I bet you haven’t

But the people in Congo have do.
 Frightening Facts
• More than 50,000 were homeless in
2 days because of the war.
• They are homeless because some run
away from fear of the soldiers.

• Soldiers kick them out of their house

to be turned into storage for them.
 Are you hungry?
Are you going to have food
when you get home?

Well don’t complain when you’re

hungry because you aren’t hungry
like Congo’s people.
Every child that has been born in the
last 15 years is a war child. Their
future is to die.

They are moved around all the time.

They live in shacks and little villages
in the villages.

There are 15,000 families in a village

and there is only one water tap.
In Congo the average life expectancy
is 42 years old, this is because of the
malnutrition.

That is the age of

some of our
parents!!!
 • Congo's population is
70,916,439 and 75% of that
are homeless and dying.
Look to your left, your right
and in front of you…
3 out of the 4 of you would
be dying in Congo
 These people have no food,
medical treatment and half
of them don’t have any homes.

So don’t complain if you really don’t like the peanut butter

on your sandwiches…

Or if your really don’t want to get your injection…

Or if you have to go to bed at 7:00pm, because remember

that the people in Congo would kill to have that.
