Amended Notification No S.O. 186(E) Dated 30.03.1973

S.O. 242.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 8 of the Carriage by
Air Act, 1972 (69 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the then Ministry of Tourism and Civil
Aviation No. S.O. 186(E), dated the 30th March, 1973, namely :--

In the said notification in Paragraph 4, in clause (p),--

In Rule 22 of the Second Schedule to the said Act as amended by that clause,--

(i) in sub-rule (1),--

(A) for the figures "5,00,000", the figures "7,50,000" shall be substituted;

(B) for the figures "2,50,000", the figures "3,75,000" shall be substituted;

(ii) in sub-rule (1-A),--

(A) for the letters, words and figures "Rs 500 per day", the letters, words and
figures "Rs 750 per day" shall be substituted;

(B) for the letters and figures "Rs 1,00,000", the letters and figures "1,50,000"
shall be substituted;

(iii) in sub-rule (2), in clause (a), for the words "rupees three hundred" the words
"rupees four hundred and fifty" shall be substituted;

(iv) in sub-rule (3), for the words "rupees two thousand five hundred", the words
"rupees four thousand" shall be substituted.
