A. Most of the people said they watch reality shows on TV like Bigg Boss 3,Sa Re Ga Ma Pa etc. Others said they watch news channels. Children said that they watch educational channels like Discovery rather than cartoons.
Q. For how much time do you watch TV?
A. The answers ranged from a mere 30 minutes to a whooping 4 hours. The average of them all was 2 Hours.
Q. What is your favourite program?
A. The answers ranged from news programs to devotional programs. But most of the people said their favourite show is “Bigg Boss 3”.
Q. Is TV viewing harmful for children?
A. All of the parents we surveyed disagreed. They said that nowadays, there are many educational shows and channel which help their children to learn in a fun way.
Q. Do you think TV is idiot box?
A. The people whom we surveyed regarded this question as “a stupid question.” . The said that TV is a very good informational resource and also regarded it as “Entertainment Box” for the entertaining shows we can watch on it.
Q. Does TV increase your knowledge?
A. All of the people said “YES!”. They said it keeps them updated with the latest news and also increases their knowledge through educational programs.
Q. Do Your Parents allow you to watch TV?
A. All of the children said that they allow them except when exams are going on.
