Issuing Results to Students

You can provide results to your students in a variety of ways, depending upon your centre’s preference and
agreed arrangement:

• By downloading results via EDI

• By downloading results from Edexcel Online
• By providing paper copies
• By providing students with PIN slips for Results Plus Direct, so that they can access their results online.

The dates on which results become available in each of these formats (and when they may be passed onto
students) are shown in the table above.

EDI Files
Our EDI results files are provided in the latest version of the JCQ formats (currently version 12). This format is
used by all the JCQ Awarding Bodies. We do not issue results in our EDIFACT format for this release, unless you
have specifically requested this for BTEC.

If you wish to be sent a new or revised EDI file, we can arrange this for you. Please contact us at
eprocessing@edexcel.com specifying whether you require it to be sent via a carrier (AVCO ExamService,
RM SecureNet or webXchange) or via email.

Post-Results Services
You can request Post-Results Services using Edexcel Online (www.edexcelonline.com). We offer a variety of
services including:

• Priority review of marking for level 3 qualifications – we will endeavour to complete these within ten
working days
• Standard review of marking
• Access to scripts
• Review of moderation

Further information can be found on our website and in your current Information Manual. Please also refer to
