    Using the CSULB Library:


    Library home page - http://www.csulb.edu/library
    -COAST for finding books (Link+ for books we don’t have)
    -Library Password for off-campus access to databases

    Finding articles:
    1. Select a database to search (Databases by Topic)
    2. Break search into key terms
    3. Search key terms using BOOLEAN Operators (AND, OR)
    4. Refine search using limiters (pub. year or type, etc.)
    Databases to use:
    Biological Abstracts
    Academic Search Complete
    Science Direct
    PsychInfo
    PubMed

    Write down/ e-mail/save/print everything for the citation!


    Title, Author, Journal, vol., issue, page numbers, year

    Finding the text of the article:


    1. Full-text or PDF from the database
    2. Get it @ CSULB or SFX
    3. Check Coast journal title search
    -Type in title of the journal (NOT the article title)
    4. Inter-Library Loan (Article Reach and ILLiad)
