Topic: Literature review on ‘The Factors that affect an IHRM system in the MNE.’

In the current world economy, globalization prevails and the targeted market segments of sizable
companies are no longer bounded within geographical boundaries.

2. This issue is particularly important in current economical environment since globalization is
the key to success.
3. Major issues-
Challenges presented by the diversity of national culture,
Social economic and policatical context, ie Asia pacific
Subtle difference in preferences for conflict resolution styles across several collectivist
culture.
Selection, management development and compensation.
MNE hard to be integrated by IHRM etc etc
4. Issue dealth with by SIHRM – trg and development, specific health and safety concerns,
benefits and compensation prog, dealth with by use of multiple reviewers, using reviews
from above, below beside and even self review
5. Gaps in literature to be furthered studied will be to have concrete evidence from a specific
targeted segment of employees under the survey. Case of segmentation to analyse
productivity increase by management. Productivity to be controlled by ensuring quality of
works in all different parts of the world undr same brand new. Specifications same but sales
attitube may difer
6. Management will have to strike a balance between honoring the company’s core policies
while adapting well to cater to local demand in the region.
